What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to all kinds of music, but to be honest with you, I am a huge Phish fan. I’ve gone to 82 of their shows.
What are you watching on TV?
I watch “Homeland,” “Boardwalk Empire” … a lot of that kind of stuff. I also watch a lot of what my wife watches. She’s into reality TV.
What was the last book you read?
I’m not much of a reader. Probably the last book I read was a FDR (President Franklin Roosevelt) biography. I’m into history.
What type of movies do you like?
I love “Lord of the Rings,” “Harry Potter” and “The Hunger Games” – that sort of stuff. And comedies … obviously, I love comedies.
What famous person, dead or alive, would you want to meet?
Trey Anastasio of Phish.
What are your hobbies?
I golf in the summer. I love fishing – especially bass fishing. I also have two little kids, and I love playing with them.
What would your last meal be?
I love Mexican food. I could eat that every day.
What is your favorite local memory?
Sportswise, it would probably be making the Sectional finals against Queensbury or beating Shen for the first time in school history.
What three things would you need on a deserted island?
A fishing pole, an iPad and a beach towel.
If you could coach any NHL team, which one would it be and why?
The Montreal Canadiens. That’s where my family is from. I grew up a Canadiens fan.
What is something about you that people would find surprising?
I’m a first degree black belt in taekwondo.
