What are you listening to?
I just recently got into this band called The Last Internationale. They were just on tour with Robert Plant.
What are you reading?
I’m currently reading“The Circle”by Dave Eggers. It’s about how the internet is proliferating our lives, but it’s a fiction book.
What are you watching on TV?
I don’t have cable, so I watch everything on Netflix and Hulu. I just recently started “House of Cards.” I’m behind on everything. I haven’t even watched “Breaking Bad” yet.
What was the last movie you saw?
“The Fault in Our Stars” was the last one I saw, to be honest with you. I’m behind.
Who is one person, dead or alive, you would like to meet, and why?
I’m leaning towards Jim Morrison because I feel like he would be an interesting one.
What is your favorite hobby?
Probably interior design. I just recently refinished my dining room table and I would like to do more of that. Refinishing furniture.
What is your dream vacation?
Somewhere with a balance of things to do. Like. I want to relax but I also want there to be cultural things to do and be able to learn something. My favorite so far has been Florence, but I am going to Ireland at the end of the month so maybe that will change.
What would your last meal be?
I’m going to say my mom’s homemade sauce and meatballs. Which is sort of sad because she died this past summer and I will never have that again. She was the best cook ever.
What is your favorite local moment?
Recently, probably going to TedX Albany last year. That was pretty cool. It was an all-day affair so there was a bunch of different speakers. My favorite was the Albany police chief, who spoke about community building and how it affects crime.
What three things would you bring with you to a desert island?
Music of some sort because I’m a music lover, so it will have to be a iPod or something. Probably durable footwear, and some kind of means of communication so I could call someone to get me off the island because I wouldn’t do well on an island. Although I’m thinking a cell phone won’t work so maybe I need to learn Morse code.
