What have you been listening to?
I listen to all sorts of music, but I have a soft spot for Irish traditional music.
What are you watching on TV?
I’m a big Fox News guy. I like (Bill) O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly. That’s what I’m watching when I’m not watching a movie on TV.
What was the last book you read?
“Rendezvous with Destiny.” It was about (Ronald) Reagan’s 1980 campaign against (President Jimmy) Carter and the debates they had. Political reading has always been big with me … I also have a bug for history. I’ve always had an interest in the 18th and 19th Century, but lately I’ve had a fascination with the early 20th Century.
What was the last movie you saw?
The Coen Brothers’ “Inside Llewyn Davis.” It was a look at the 1960s folk music scene before Bob Dylan. I actually saw that movie twice in the theaters.
What person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet?
There have probably been a lot of people I would have liked to meet. The guy I’m playing right now (in D&M’s production of “Incommunicado”), Ezra Pound … if he was half as funny as the character I’m playing, I would have loved to meet him. I would have also liked to meet Calvin Coolidge. I’ve always been a fan of his presidency.
What would your last meal be?
Let’s just shove some Fountain pizza in me and some salad. I’ve had pizza from lots of places, but the Fountain has always been my favorite.
What is your favorite hobby?
Exercise has always been a big thing for me. I used to be a boxer, and I even taught boxing at the Bethlehem (Area) YMCA.
Name three things you’d want to have on a desert island.
Some sort of hut to live in to protect me from changes in the weather, a nice food supply that doesn’t need something to be plugged in to prepare it and a nice woman to keep me company. Failing that, a fire source so I could prepare the food.
