GREAT BARRINGTON, MA – Nancy C. Halliday, 81, Great Barrington, MA, C/o Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, passed on 1/18/2012 of natural causes. She is predeceased by her parents, Wesley and Patricia (Warner) Ballweber and survived by her sister, June Ricci. She is also survived by her children, Sandra Dugan, David Hummer (Barb), Michael Hummer (fiancée, Donna), Holly Halliday–Crowe (David), and Cindy Halliday, and a number of grandchildren.
Nancy grew up in Rotterdam and lived the better part of her life in Altamont with her sister, June (Ralph). She was the caregiver to their mother and guardian to her grandson, Shawn Thibodeau, whom she raised. She enjoyed music and dancing, shopping, and making people laugh. Her family will never forget her lively spirit. Nancy will always be in her family‘s thoughts and prayers.
