Rotterdam police on Tuesday, July 3, arrested Jody L. Mayer, 50, of 634 Poutre Ave., Rotterdam, for allegedly burglarizing Caribbean Pools & Spas.
On Sunday, July 1, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police said Mayer allegedly pried open a side entrance door of the pool store located at 1223 Fort Hunter Road and allegedly stole money from the cash register, before fleeing the store.
Detectives soon identified Mayer after viewing the store’s surveillance system recording. She was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony.
Mayer was remanded to the Schenectady County jail with no bail.
