A Scotia woman on Thursday, June 7, struck a parked car at the Pattersonville Service Area on the state Thruway and was found to have a BAC more than four times the legal limit, according to State Police.
As Nancy Dwyer, 50, of Scotia, pulled into the Thruway service area in the Town of Florida, she allegedly struck a parked care while attempting to pull into a parking spot. After State Police investigated the incident, Dwyer was allegedly found to have a BAC of 0.35 percent.
State Police arrested Dwyer on felony DWI charges on Thursday at approximately 2:45 p.m.
Dwyer was arraigned in the Town of Florida Court and remained to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail.
