Police were at Ballston Spa High School today after a shotgun was spotted in a student’s truck.
Robert A. Fisher, 18, was arrested by State Police and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. He allegedly left the shotgun in the truck after using it for target practice. The shotgun was in a gun rack, unloaded and had a safety device attached, police said. Authorities were contacted after a faculty member saw the shotgun.
Police said there were no threats of violence associated with the incident.
Fisher was released and was scheduled to appear in the Town of Ballston court on April 26.
