A traffic stop ended with an Albany woman being hit with drug charges on Sunday, Dec. 18, according to State Police reports.
State Police at Loudonville arrested Nyketa S. Hilts, 25, of Albany and charged her with criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, according to police reports.
Around 5:44 p.m., police stopped Hilts’ 2001 Lexus on I-787 in the City of Albany for having an unsecured rear license plate and Hilts was found to be in possession of a large suitcase that contained about 35 pounds of marijuana, according to police reports.
Hilts was arraigned and remanded to the Albany County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
