State Police say a fight in the parking lot of a Clifton Park music venue ended with a Schenectady man stabbed.
State Police arrested Daniel P. Taylor, 28, of East Caroga Lake, for felony assault in the first degree following an investigation into a stabbing in the parking lot of Northern Lights.
State Police were called at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, on a report of a man who was stabbed. Police located the victim, Joseph A. Fritz, 40, of Schenectady, at the nearby Cumberland Farms. Fritz said he got into a fight in the parking lot of Northern Lights and alleged that Taylor stabbed him in the abdomen, according to police. Fritz was transported to Albany Medical Center and was listed in stable condition.
Taylor was arraigned before Town Justice James Hughes and remanded to Saratoga County jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. He was scheduled to reappear in Clifton Park Town Court on Friday, Dec. 2.
