Bethlehem police have charged a member of the town’s Industrial Development Agency with DWI following a crash Monday, Nov. 28.
Police said Stephen Rosenblatt, 43, of Delmar crashed his car into a utility pole on Elsmere Avenue near Dalton Court. Police arrived a short time later and found Rosenblatt sitting on the ground near his car.
The crash damaged fiber optic lines belonging to Verizon.
It’s the second DWI charge in a span of two months for Stephen Rosenblatt, 43, of Delmar. Rosenblatt was charged with aggravated DWI on Sept. 30 after police said he was found urinating in the parking lot near Bruegger’s Bagels in the Delaware Plaza.
Rosenblatt is on the board of the IDA, which issues incentives to businesses and projects that spur economic and job growth in the town.
