The Colonie Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 15, around 3:51 p.m. at the Bank of America at 579 Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham Farms.
According to police reports, a white male entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over an undetermined amount of money and the suspect fled on foot, according to police reports. Police said there was no threat or display of a weapon and nobody was injured.
The suspect was last seen walking south toward Hannaford, said police.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, over 6 feet tall, wearing a white baseball cap, sunglasses, a black jacket and blue jeans.
