An eight-month State Police investigation concluded on Thursday, Oct. 20, with the arrest of an Amsterdam man on several narcotics related charges, according to police reports.
Joseph A. Tambasco, 32, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at Fantasy Island Adult Novelty Store at 4175 Route 30 in the Town of Perth where police seized quantities of cocaine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, drug paraphernalia and cash proceeds from narcotics sales, according to police reports.
According to police reports, the investigation began with complaints received from the general public alleging illegal activity occurring at the store. Members of the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and BCI squads from the Fonda and Mayfield barracks conducted the investigation.
