Two Voorheesville teens are facing felony burglary charges after they were allegedly caught breaking into a vacant house. Lee Schlomo, age 17, of 73 Altamont Rd., Voorheesville and Evan Campana, age 18 of 2 Fairfield Dr., Voorheesville, were apprehended after a concerned citizen in the Stonington Hill development in Voorheesville reported a suspicious vehicle at around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7. Police said the pair had broken into a vacant house at 25 Severson Hill Road and broke walls inside. They allegedly tried to flee on foot but were apprehend by Albany County Sheriff’s Deputies, according to arrest reports. Both were charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marihuana charges. They were arraigned in the Village of Voorheesville court and released under the supervision of Albany County Probation.
