On Friday, Sept. 30, State Police in Clifton Park announced the arrest of two men in connection with the robbery at the Holiday Inn Express in Clifton Park that occurred in the early morning of July 1.
Richard S. Young, 43, of Schenectady, and Justin E. Faulkner, 33, of Clifton Park, were arrested following a police investigation and DNA hit, according to police reports.
Police said about $430 was forcibly stolen from the desk clerk at the Holiday Inn Express.
Young was additionally charged with a forced entry burglary to the Stewarts Shop in Rexford in the early morning of Aug. 7 where he allegedly stole lottery tickets and cigarettes, according to police reports.
Young was arrested for robbery in the third degree and burglary in the third degree. Faulkner was arrested for robbery in the third degree.
