GLENMONT — Dr. Jeffrey Riker has been practicing in the Capital Region since 1995 and established Glenmont Chiropractic Office in 2003. Dr. Riker practices in an evidence-based environment providing clinically relevant and indicated care for a number of spinal related disorders.
He works closely with a group of physicians that specialize in both pain management as well as neurosurgery and refers frequently to these providers either when the patient’s symptoms do not or no longer respond to chiropractic care or they are not an appropriate chiropractic candidate to begin with.
Dr. Riker also provides a number of diagnostic modalities in his office, including EMG and nerve conduction velocity examinations in order to thoroughly evaluate his patients and determine whether or not they are appropriate chiropractic candidates. Other diagnostic modalities are routinely ordered including MRI, CT scan and appropriate lab work when necessary.
Dr. Riker’s practice philosophy is to thoroughly examine and evaluate his patients in an attempt to ensure that he is the most appropriate provider for them to see, and if he is not the appropriate provider for a particular patient or condition, he will refer you to the appropriate provider.
Glenmont Chiropractic Office is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 449-3071 or visit www.glenmontchiro.com.
