The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has elected several local business leaders to key positions to serve within the organization in the year 2012.
The appointments are as follows:
The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has elected the following local business leaders to serve in key volunteer leadership positions for 2012: Susan Halstead, owner of Family Vision Care Center, Chair of the Board of Directors; Mike O’Sullivan, Publisher of the Saratogian, Chair-Elect; Stephan von Schenk, Executive Vice President of The Adirondack Trust Company, and Dennis Albright, owner of T-Shirt Graphics, as the two Vice-Chairs; Angelo Calbone, President of Saratoga Hospital, Immediate Past Chair; Matt Jones, Partner with Jones Ferradino Attorneys at Law, Treasurer; and Valerie Muratori, Executive Directors of Saratoga Bridges, Secretary.
I know the challenges facing small business owners each and every day,” said Halstead in a statement. “To succeed, grow and thrive as a small business owner, I have always relied upon a great support network that includes; family, friends, a great staff, loyal customers and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. That is why I am so honored to be the 2012 Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors even though I have no idea how I’ll find the time to run my business, spend time with my family, and successfully follow the incredible legacy of volunteer leadership shown by Angelo Calbone, Mike Munter, and so many other past chairs.”
New volunteer members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors with terms starting on Jan. 1 include: David Collins, of D.A. Collins; Phil Glotzbach, President of Skidmore College; and Ray O’Conor, President of Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company.
In addition to the seven officers and these three new members, the Chamber’s Board of Directors also includes: Vicki Aldrich, Weichert Realty Northeast Group; Linda Ambrosino, G. Willikers; Chris Harmon, Stadium Café; Steve Heidorn, Broadway Title Agency; Kevin Johnson, New York Long Term Care Brokers; Patricia Mangino, Mangino Buick; Mike Munter, Munter Enterprises; Ian Murray, Brookside Nursery; Mark Pepin, Time Warner Cable Business Class; Susan Slovic, Ballston Spa National Bank; Steve Springer, Atlantic British Limited; Marcia White, Saratoga Performing Arts Center; Travis Bullard, GlobalFoundries; and Dan Frankowski, Quad Graphics, Inc.
