GLENMONT — HomeGoods, the off-price home décor store, announced it will open its Glenmont Plaza location at 388 Feura Bush Road with a grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 29.
The new retailer will have an approximate 23,000-square-foot floor plan, and store officials said it expects to bring 65 full- and part-time jobs to the area.
“Our amazing values, brand names, and vast assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers,” HomeGoods president John Ricciuti shared in a statement. “With a large variety of merchandise from around the world, customers will always find thrilling values in our treasure hunt shopping experience. We are happy to provide Glenmont, NY with a new HomeGoods.”
HomeGoods will open the new storefront at 8 a.m. that Saturday, and is to keep doors open until 10 p.m.
The retailer announced it will contribute to the local community by presenting a $10,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. The Albany Ronald McDonald House has served more than 17,000 families from across the country and around the world. The House is the cornerstone of RMHC of the Capital Region, providing a home away from home — free of charge — for families with children facing serious medical issues.
HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, pet accessories, storage, workspace, outdoor, gourmet, wellness and more. All stores, including the newest openings, have updated health and wellness practices to help protect the health and well-being of customers and associates.
