RAVENA — “How The Power Struggle Between Companies and Employees is Carving Out Opportunities for Both” will be presented by recruiter Leo Pulcher at the March 24 monthly meeting of the Ravena Coeymans Selkirk Community Business Association at the community room of Abounding Love Fellowship in the Faith Plaza in Ravena. Breakfast begins at 7:30 followed by the meeting at 8 a.m.
Pulcher has worked within the recruiting industry for the past 11 years, including launching Tech Valley Recruiting in 2014, to help small businesses in upstate NY. He goes beyond traditional recruitment by also helping small businesses become hiring experts themselves. His clients become competitive with larger organizations by improving their ability to attract, evaluate, and retain elite talent.
A question and answer period will follow Pulcher’s talk.
The April meeting of the RCSCBA will feature a social mixer at Yanni’s Too at 5 p.m. on a date to be announced. These mixers are opportunities to network with local business and community leaders and find out the latest developments on economic development.
The RCSCBA is an all-volunteer organization of business and community leaders and interested individuals. The group is a catalyst for growth and prosperity through economic and community development initiatives that foster a strong business climate.
The monthly meetings feature “What’s New?” updates by local businesses and groups, briefs on matters of economic and community importance and include a guest speaker, a spotlight by a specific business and a question and answer period.
Cost for the meeting is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Visit the RCS Community Library online at rcscommunitylibrary.libcal.com/event/8811336.
The group’s Facebook Page is active at https://www.facebook.com/RCSCBA and the website is https://www.rcscba.com. RCSCBA meets monthly at rotating locations.
