COLONIE — Public meetings are again open to the public.
Effective immediately, all town meetings and hearings of various boards, committees and authorities will allow up to 25 people to attend, which includes applicants and their agents provided the eight-county Capital District remains in at least Phase III of the state’s reopening plan.
All attendees must adhere to social distance protocols and must wear a facemask at all times. Anyone who does not follow the protocols will not be allowed in the meeting.
The Town Board, Planning Board and other boards and authorities have been meeting virtually since mid-March, when the COVID-19 pandemic took hold.
