The Delmar Farmers Market kicked off its 2020 season at Elm Avenue Park on Saturday, May 16.
The park is a temporary home while the Bethlehem Middle School is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A number of precautions were in place Saturday, including appropriate spacing of vendors, foot traffic only going in one direction and masks were required by vendors and customers. There is no congregating allowed and only vendors selling food, soap or hand sanitizers are allowed. Dogs are not allowed.
The market will be at the park until further notice and will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open to seniors and other high-risk patrons only from 9 to 10 a.m.
