COLONIE — A house at 119 Old Loudon Road was the target of a drive by shooting on Monday, April 13.
According to Lt. Robert Winn, police received several 911 calls at about 6:25 p.m. reporting shots had been fired in the area of Park Avenue.
A few minutes later, residents of 119 Old Loudon Road called 911 to report a bullet had hit their house.
Officers found three bullet holes in the home, which was occupied by several adults and children, and one that that had entered the living room area.
Based on evidence collected and witness statements, police determined it was not a random act and that the home was targeted.
The shots were fired from a light color, smaller SUV, with several people inside, that was seen driving by the home several times before stopping and firing the shots.
It was believed to be traveling south on Old Loudon Road.
