ALBANY — All indoor portions of shopping malls, amusement parks and bowling alleys will close as of 8 p.m. Thursday, according to a four-state agreement.
The objective, said Gov. Andrew Cuomo via social media, is to reduce density and slow the spread of coronavirus.
Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New Jersey along with New York will also mandate the closing of such facilities.
Stores with exterior entrances can remain open.
There is not a set date as to when the interior common areas of the malls can re-open.
