VOORHEESVILLE — Voorheesville Central School District residents approved the $25.4 million budget on Tuesday, May 21, with 1,120 supporting and 342 opposing it.
Also, the bus proposition, which would cost up to $227,000, was passed by voters, with 955 favoring and 253 opposing it. It would replace aging school buses with one new 65-passenger bus and two 28-passenger buses.
According to the district’s website, the one open Board of Education seat, for a four-year term, would be filled by Rachel Gilker.
