A Colonie man was arrested for a host of crimes for allegedly collecting unemployment benefits while holding a job.
According to the State Police, after a joint investigation with the state Department of Labor, 31-year-old James Christensen, collected $5,950 worth of unemployment benefits he was not eligible to collect.
He was arrested on Sept. 11 and charged with the felonies of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument.
He was arraigned, released on an appearance ticket and is due back in court on Sept. 27.
