Many of us are fortunate enough to have food in our refrigerator to pack a lunch or stop at a local deli to buy our lunch. Unfortunately, for many families in our community this is not the case.
The Bethlehem YMCA’s Y-Time and Togetherhood committee is taking on this challenge full force. The Y is helping the Bethlehem Central School District to provide food for students who rely on school breakfasts and lunches and may not have enough or any food at home during the summer when school is out.
Please consider going to www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d48a8af23a6f85-setting and supporting the Y’s food drive now through June 14 and help out local families in need.
YMCA Classic
Car Show
The Bethlehem YMCA’s 4th annual classic car show returns on Saturday, June 24. Over 100 classic cars from roadsters to muscle cars, pickups and more will be in the Y’s back parking lot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the kids and enjoy a slice of Americana and the open road. There will also be music, food, raffles and lots of fun.
Y Swim Lessons Come To Your Backyard
The Bethlehem YMCA is offering a new program to bring our swimming lessons right to your backyard pool. Help ensure your kids are safe in and around the pool by getting them expert lessons. If you have a group of four to eight children for lessons, the Y will bring a lifeguard and swim instructor to your home pool for lessons. Call the Y at 439-4394 and ask for Jean for more information.
Pro Wrestling
Comes To The Y
Professional wrestling comes to the Bethlehem YMCA sport court on Saturday, July 1 with the “No Escape” Dynasty steel cage professional wrestling match.
Tickets start at $12. Doors to the event will open at 5 p.m. with matches starting at 6 p.m. To purchase tickets go to dynastyprowrestling.com.
YMCA Summer Camp
There is an old saying that if it was not for the last minute, many things would never get done. If you are still in need of summer camp arrangements for your youngsters, you can still register for summer camp at the YMCA. Help ensure your kids have their best summer ever with fun, activities and friends at the Y.
