UPDATE: Colonie police announced that Yelle was found Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 13, in Troy after family members received a call about his location. Yelle was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy by his family.
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating Wayne A. Yelle, 46, of Colonie, who has been reportedly missing since Saturday, Jan. 3.
Yelle, last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers, and was believed to be going to the City of Troy, according to Colonie police. He reportedly has a history of cardiac issues and seizures, which he may not have his medication to treat. He was reported missing to police on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Police described Yelle as 5-foot 9 inches, with brown hair and a full beard, along with numerous tattoos and a surgical scar on his chest. His family has been distributing missing person fliers.
