The Bethlehem Parks and Recreation Department is looking for people to participate in a round of focus group meetings designed to evaluate parks and recreation services.
Meetings take place Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 12:30, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., at the Elm Avenue Park office; and Thursday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Town Hall, and 2:15 p.m. at Bethlehem Central High School. The 12:30 p.m. meeting on Jan. 14 is for local businesses, while the 1 p.m. meeting on Jan. 15 is for senior citizens, and the 2:15 p.m. meeting at the high school is for students.
Focus group participants will be asked to weigh in on the extent to which the town’s facilities, programs and services meet their needs and the community’s needs — as well as what the town might add in the future. A community meeting will take place Thursday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m., at Bethlehem Town Hall, to discuss the focus groups’ findings.
