A portion of Glenridge Road between Bradt Road and Bruce Drive in Clifton Park and Glenville will be closed to any motorists for approximately seven days, beginning on Monday, July 16, at 9 a.m., due to construction work.
Traffic will be detoured along Route 146, Alplaus Avenue and Maple Avenue. Motorists should expect delays and are recommended to travel an alternative route.
All properties in the area will remain accessible to residents and emergency responders.
The state reminds motorists that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone in accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005. Also, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
