Bethlehem Central Middle School student Eric Wolfsberg won the Regional History Bee on Thursday, Jan. 26. The National History Bee for upstate New York was held at the Bethlehem Middle School this year. Representatives from middle schools all over upstate New York competed for a chance to win a spot at the National Championships in Washington, D.C. BCMS’s own Eric Wolfsberg was the overall winner, with Justin Cohen placing third. Wolsberg will be representing Upstate New York in the National History Bee, which will be televised on History Channel in May, and has an opportunity to win $50,000 in scholarship money.
