A Delmar man has died from injuries sustained after he was struck on Central Avenue in Colonie.
Police said Kerry Irwin, 63, was crossing the 1900 block of Central Avenue on the evening of Monday, Nov. 21 when he was struck by a car. The driver, Rosanne Endres of Rensselaer, was not injured.
Irwin was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital in critical condition. Police said Tuesday afternoon that Irwin died from the injuries sustained in the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police have not indicated if charges are being considered.
Colonie Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to call the department at 783-2744.
