Schenectady County is still under a state of emergency until further notice, but county officials are lifting travel restrictions at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
County officials said power outages continue and some streets remain closed and urge residents to drive cautiously.

The restriction is an effort to maintain the highest level of reserves until flood waters recede and systems are online. Water use should be limited to drinking, food preparation and sanitary concerns only.
