High winds accompanied by lightening and heavy rain came through the Selkirk area shortly after 1 p.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 21, taking down trees power lines and poles on Beaver Dam Road The road is closed as crews tend to a large tree and a power pole with primary and secondary lines laying across the road.
