A broken-down motorhome on the Thruway led to a New Hampshire man being arrested on weapons charges.
State Police arrested Daniel E. Stuart, 59, of West Lebanon, on charges of criminal possession of a handgun in the second degree, false personation and unlicensed operation after checking on the motorhome near exit 25 in the Town of Guilderland.
Police said Stuart gave a false name, but an investigation revealed him to be unlicensed and in possession of a loaded .45 caliber handgun.
Stuart was remanded to the Albany County jail without bail and scheduled to appear in court on June 30.
