State Police in Wilton are investigating a two vehicle, fatal accident that occurred on the Northway late Thursday, April 21, and claimed the life of a 31-year-old Vermont man.
According to police reports, around 10:20 p.m. near Exit 16 northbound, a 2002 Dodge Pickup collided with a tanker truck. The driver of the pickup, Paul Woodbury of Bomoseen, VT, left the east side of the roadway after colliding with the Canadian tanker driven by Steve Theriault, 36, of Quebec.
Woodbury was ejected from the pickup and succumbed to his injuries at Saratoga Hospital, while Theriault was uninjured, according to police reports.
The crash is under investigation and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call State Police at 583-7010.
