State police on Monday, March 28, arrested a Delmar man on charges he scammed over $200,000 from an Albany County resident.
Frank W. Kindlon, 68, was charged with grand larceny in the second degree, a felony.
Police said Kindlon initiated a scam in April of 2009 and it continued through March of 2011, with Kindlon allegedly receiving money by claiming various expenses and fees that did not exist.
Police declined to elaborate on what those expenses were, but did say Kindlon was not employed during the time of the alleged scam.
The resident filed a complaint with police on March 18.
Kindlon was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and remanded to Albany County jail without bail.
Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Kindlon is asked to call state police at 783-3211.“
