A pair of brothers were arrested for possessing crack cocaine following a traffic stop, State Police say.
Jason P. Stover, 31, of South Glens Falls, was stopped on Feb. 19 on Route 67 in the Town of Malta around 3:15 p.m. for a traffic violation and was found to have a suspended driver’s license, according to police reports. Further investigation revealed that both Stover and his passenger, Michael Stover, 27, of Ballston Spa, his brother, were in possession of a glass tube and two rocks of crack cocaine.
The men were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance. Jason Stover was arrested for one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and one count of criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree, along with traffic violations. Michael Stover was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, according to police reports.
