On Jan. 7, State Police in Queensbury arrested Robert G. Campbell, 40, of Glens Falls, for grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and say Campbell was also recently arrested for scams.
Campbell, who is known to have lived in Glens Falls and Fort Ann, rented equipment from Home Depot and failed to return it by Nov. 21, according to police reports.The equipment rented is worth $1,700.
Campbell has also been arrested in the last few months for scams involving paving jobs and home repairs, where he takes a down payment and never does the agreed upon work, police said. Some of his known complaints were in the Towns of Brunswick and Colonie.
Campbell was remanded to Warren County Jail, where other warrants have been lodged against him as well. State Police are urging anyone who has been a victim of one of Campbell’s scams and have not yet made a complaint, to contact them at 783-3211. `
