A Clifton Park man was arrested and charged with reckless driving, speeding, DWI and resisting arrest on Christmas Eve, according to State Police.
Police say on Dec. 24 around 1:26 a.m., two troopers were on 1-87 south between exits 11 and 12 checking a disabled vehicle when a white passenger vehicle traveling southbound at such an excessive speed, forced one of the troopers against the disabled vehicle.
Troopers were able to follow the vehicle, driven by Jason M. Trier, 28, of Clifton Park, and clocked the speed at 103 mph before finally stopping the white Mercury at Exit 9w. Trier was belligerent, combative and intoxicated, police said.
Trier was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 bond.
