Six Shenendehowa swimmers won individual events to lead the Plainswomen past Mohonasen-Schalmont 104.5-73.5 in Tuesday’s girls meet in Rotterdam.
Julia Pucciarelli got things going for Shen with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:08.17. Olivia Samson then finished first in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:19.83.
Tabitha Reutter won the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.20 seconds for Mohonasen-Schalmont, but Shen took the next two events to build a 62.5-31.5 lead. Danielle Thompson finished first in the 1-meter diving with a score of 189.30 points, and Katherine Orr took first place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:04.11.
Reutter struck again in the 100 freestyle with a winning time of 56.51 seconds before Katie Jesaitis (500 freestyle) and Emma Rupert (100 backstroke) won their individual events for Shen. The Plainswomen’s 200 freestyle relay was also victorious in that stretch.
Natalie Ericson added a victory in the 100 breaststroke for Mohonasen-Schalmont.`
