Two arrests have been made in connection with a Tuesday, May 25, stabbing incident at Shenanigan’s Gentleman’s Club at 2169 Central Avenue, according to police reports.
Police arrested Issac C. Stroud, 24, and Athena L. Warner, 20, both of Schenectady, and charged Stroud with several felonies, while Warner was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly facilitating the altercation.
According to the arrest report, Warner, a former employee at the night-club, was involved in an argument with an employee at the club. Stroud was said to have intervened and stabbed the employee.
Stroud was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, also a felony, as well as a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of marijuana, a violation. Warner was charged with criminal facilitation in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
The employee was treated at and released from Ellis hospital for the wound.
The incidenct is the second in four months, as police arrested Dandre Jones, 29, of Troy, for a Feb. 9, incident at the same club. Jones allegedly slashed a DJ during an altercation and was charged with a number of felonies including assault in the first degree, as well as charges related to him fleeing New York State Police in late April, after he was pulled over for a traffic stop.
