Another man was arrested for menacing during the St. Patrick’s Day fight that preceded a fatal hit and run in Saratoga Springs, according to Lt. Greg Veitch.
City police arrested Brian Robinson, 24, of East Ridge Road for his role in the fight that led to the hit and run death of Ryan Rossley on St. Patrick’s Day night, said Veitch. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of Menacing in the Second Degree.
Police allege that Robinson threatened several people with a knife during the brawl, among those people is Kevin Carroll, the father of Travis Carroll who was driving the vehicle that struck Rossley, said Veitch. Travis Carroll recently pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the Second degree.
Police have not recovered the knife that Robinson is alleged to have possessed at the time, said Veitch, but they expect to lodge an additional misdemeanor charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree at Robinson’s next court appearance, scheduled for May 18.
Police do not expect to make any more arrests related to this investigation, according to reports.
