Clifton Park wants to know what you want more of. The town’s Community Arts and Culture Commission will hold an arts roundtable on Wednesday, May 19, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. to update the public on the arts scene in town and to get suggestions about what people would like to see.
The town invites anyone to attend, especially artists, performers, musicians, seniors, students and parents who participate in or support the arts community.
The Clifton Park Community Arts and Culture Commission was established in 2007 to advise and assist the Town Board in the development, coordination, promotion and
support of the arts in Clifton Park, according to information from the town. It’s recently launched several initiatives like a photo contest and grant program.
There is also one vacancy on the commission and anybody interested in being involved should contact the Office of Parks, Recreation and Community Affaiars at cliftonpark.org.
