Englemore Road will be closed weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Nov. 23 through Dec 15, according to a statement released by Clifton Park Superintendent of Highways Richard M. Kukuk.
A culvert replacement project on Englemore Road at the crossing of the Stoney Creek Reservoir will necessitate the daily closure of the roadway to all traffic. The existing 72-inch diameter pipe has deteriorated such that it must be repaired.
The construction will require elimination of vehicular traffic during work hours due to restricted space on the causeway.
The closures will begin Monday, Nov. 23, at 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The road will be closed to traffic each weekday during that time through
Dec.15.
The roadway will be open for use after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends. Signage will be placed at Vischer Ferry Road and Moe Road.
Local residents only may access their property during construction hours.
