The Town of Bethlehem is looking for volunteers to participate in the year’s final Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The cleanup will take place along Route 32, starting at the Elm Avenue Town Park and heading south toward Feura Bush.
Volunteers should look for Supervisor Jack Cunningham driving a town jeep parked in the lots closest to the tennis courts at 9 a.m.. Cleanup supplies and safety vests will be provided.
Additionally, the Delmar Kiwanis Club is hosting a pancake breakfast that morning and will provide volunteers with a free breakfast. Volunteers will be seated as early as 8 a.m., just tell your server you’re with the community cleanup effort.
Volunteers under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult. The cleanup will go until noon. In the even of rain or snow, the cleanup will be cancelled.
