Clifton Park will hold a Night Out Against Crime at Clifton Common from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The event will include a free throw contest for children 6 to 13-years-old and basketball skills clinics by University at Albany Coach Will Brown and Shen Varisty Coach Chris Dzikas.
Prizes will be awarded to children in each age group.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s and state police will provide crime prevention information.
Local fire departments and ambulance corps will also be on hand to display equipment and a bounce house will be provided by the Southern Saratoga YMCA.
`Shoot out` participants may register at Town Hall, all day camps, pools and on the town’s Web site at www.cliftonpark.org.
