The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Tech Valley Panel Breakfast, at 7:45 a.m. at the Century House in Latham. Mike Tucker from CEG, County Executive Mike Breslin, and Ray Melleady from CDTA will be attending the panel. There is a $10 registration fee, according to its website.
Kathy Burbank, executive director of the GCCC said the panel will discuss the implications of the `tech valley` movement and its effect on small, local businesses.
The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce as well as the Colonie Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting the event.
Among some of the topics to be discussed are the University at Albany’s Nano-Tech building and the Vista Technology Park, Burbank said.
