Saratoga Springs City Supervisor Cheryl Keyrouze will host a presentation by Eileen Reardon, executive director of the American Red Cross, Adirondack Saratoga Chapter, on how to prepare for a disaster Thursday, Feb. 8, in the community room of the Saratoga Springs Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event is a community discussion for educating the public on the steps necessary to be prepared in the event of a disaster.
As we have witnessed some power outages in the last couple of years more and more people are interested in what they should do, where they should go, and what their responsibilities are during a disaster such as this, said Keyrouze
The presentation is part of a monthly series that Keyrouze is holding at the library to share with the community on how the City of Saratoga Springs and Saratoga County work together.“
