Alligators, snakes, jungle cats, and monkeys – beautiful parrots, macaws, amazons, cockatoos, and greys from around the world are coming to RCS High School.
Arrangements have been made for an appearance of Understanding Wildlife’s Live on Stage, The Rain Forest to appear at the school Monday, March 26. Understanding Wildlife is a non-profit organization that travels from California to New York City with its rain forest program.
Animal trainers will make presentations during the day to students from A.W. Becker Elementary and Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary schools. They will explain how energy conservation and recycling will help save the beautiful animals the children are seeing and other ways we can all help save our rain forests will be covered.
Then at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the school, a program will be put on for the entire family. Students will be able to interact with a few of these magnificent creatures.
The admission price for the evening program is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Children two and younger are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
