Share your story
Have you got a story to tell? Share it in our Community Stories notebook! We’ve got two notebooks, one for adult and one for teen, that we are circulating for patrons to share their works. There are no restrictions: Write fiction or non-fiction; write about the community, your family or pets; or share your own original poetry or a ghost story. The only limit is your imagination. The Community Stories notebooks are a one-week loan, requestable and non-renewable. You will find them at the Information Desk, unless they are out or on hold. Once they are full or age out of new status, they will be incorporated into the collection.
Back to Bacharach
Our Evenings on the Green summer concert series kicks off this year on Tuesday, July 11, with a performance by Christine and Elliot Spero, whose “Back to Bacharach” is a tribute to the musician’s timeless songwriting. Singer/pianist Christine and multi-instrumentalist producer Elliot have been recording and playing live shows for over 25 years.
Evenings on the Green are always free through the generous support of the Friends of Bethlehem Public Library. This year, concerts will take place every Tuesday at 7 p.m. from July 11-August 1. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will take place the following day.
Connect with JobNow
If you are currently unemployed, you may be eligible for unemployment benefits. To receive unemployment insurance benefits, you need to file a claim with the unemployment insurance program in the state where you worked. This can be confusing, but don’t worry! The Brainfuse Unemployment Benefits Navigators are here to help. Connect with a live unemployment benefits navigator by visiting our website at www.bethlehempubliclibrary.org and clicking on the “Research” tab.
