Albany County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested two Ravena men on charges they broke into a residence in the Town of Coeymans and stole jewelry. Joseph S. Persico, 20, and Joseph S. Shays, 21, were both charged with burglary in the second degree (a felony) and the misdemeanor of petit larceny. Police said the pair heisted $800 worth of jewelry and then sold it to pawn shops in Crossgates Mall and Colonie Center. Both were arraigned on the charges in the Town of Coeymans Court and remanded to the Albany County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
